Hello music lovers! Do you remember the totally awesome 80's? The decade of decadence where big hair, skinny ties and tight painted on jeans was just another ritual to your daily life. We are bringing back all those old emotions and style back with the "Pop Goes The City" music festival in Saint John, NB from August 21-23, 2008. It will be "like" the last big P-A-R-T-Y of the summer where you can get dressed up in 80's attire and enjoy the music from some of the hottest New wave, Rock, and pop bands of the 1980's! Get your friends together, dress up, and find your inner Billy Idol, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper or Dee Snider and re-discover the most radical and like totally awesome decade of decadence!
There will be prizes for the best costumes! Live Life! Be creative!
The festival will take place on the grounds of the Mediterranean Restaurant & Blue Olive (419 Rothesay Ave.)
